Selling digital files on Buuza isn't complicated, but there are a few things that separate sellers who do well from sellers who list one thing, get no sales, and give up. This is the honest version of how it works.
Setting up your seller profile
Go to Marketplace → Sell from your dashboard. You'll be prompted to create your seller profile — username, a short bio, optionally a store banner. Don't overthink the banner. What actually matters is your reputation, and you build that through sales, not aesthetics.
Your public store sits at /dashboard/marketplace/seller/your-username. Buyers can browse everything you've listed from there, so it's worth having a consistent niche rather than listing completely random stuff.
Creating listings that don't get ignored
Write descriptions like you're explaining what's inside to someone who can't see it. Be specific. If you're selling a bundle of files — say exactly what types, how many, what they're useful for. Vague descriptions get passed over constantly.
Pricing is something you'll need to feel out. Look at what similar sellers are charging first. Coming in 20% lower when you're new is a reasonable strategy to get your first few reviews, and reviews matter more than almost anything else on here.
The review process isn't instant
New listings go through approval before they go live. This usually takes less than 24 hours. Don't spam the create button submitting the same thing multiple times — it just creates more work and doesn't speed anything up.
Tools that actually help you sell more
Once you're live, there are a few things worth using:
- Promotions — pays to push your listings higher in search. Works well if you have good reviews to back it up, less useful if you don't.
- Discount codes — create a code, share it in your Telegram or Discord, tell people you've got a 10% off deal running. Simple and effective.
- Buyer requests — buyers post what they're looking for. If you have it, respond. A lot of sellers don't bother with this and it's a missed opportunity.
Tiers and fees — the honest breakdown
Buuza takes a commission on each sale. The rate starts higher when you're new (Bronze tier) and drops as your total earnings grow. By the time you hit Platinum, you're keeping significantly more per sale. It rewards sellers who stick around and put in volume.
Payouts are in crypto. Once your balance hits the minimum threshold, you can request a withdrawal from the seller dashboard.
Getting verified
Verification badges get assigned by the Buuza team — you can't buy or request one directly. They're watching for sellers with consistent quality, good review scores, and a low dispute rate. If you focus on those things, the badge tends to follow eventually. It does make a noticeable difference to conversion rates when buyers see it.
One thing that kills new sellers
Listing something and then going quiet. Buyers message sellers. If you don't respond within a day or two, they leave bad reviews or buy from someone else. Stay engaged, especially early on.
