Points systems on most platforms are basically fake. They're designed to feel like you're earning something while being nearly impossible to actually redeem for anything useful. Buuza's loyalty system isn't like that — but you do need to know how it works or you'll end up like most users: sitting on a pile of points you never spend.
Where points come from
You earn them on purchases. Package upgrades, download boosts, eligible marketplace items — they all generate points automatically. You don't have to opt in or click anything. They just stack up in your account.
Referrals also earn you bonus points when someone you brought in makes their first purchase. That's worth using if you're referring people anyway.
What you can actually get with them
Go to Dashboard → Loyalty and you'll see your balance and whatever rewards are currently available. The rewards are set by the admin team and rotate — things like free download credits, package discounts, boost credits for sellers, early access to categories.
Redemption is instant. Click the reward, points get deducted, the thing appears in your account. No waiting, no support ticket.
The part most people miss
The Loyalty Dashboard also shows your full history — every time you earned points and every redemption. This matters if you're trying to track whether a specific purchase type gives you more points than another, which some do.
Seller loyalty vs. platform loyalty — they're different things
If you're a regular buyer from a specific seller, you might see that seller has their own separate loyalty program. That's entirely independent from Buuza's platform-wide system. The seller sets up their own reward tiers, and you earn those points just by buying from that store. Check the seller's store page to see if they have one running.
The two systems don't interact — you can't combine them or transfer between them. Think of one as the platform reward and the other as a store-level loyalty card.
Just don't let them sit there
There's no expiry on points right now, but reward availability does change. A reward that's available today might not be there in a few weeks. If you've got a decent balance, check the page occasionally and grab something useful when it's there.
